There is no doubt that it does what it was designed to do, but whether you will actually enjoy what Ghost MV1 is all about, depends on your personal preferences.

The design is something out of a sci-fi movie, which tends to be appealing to a lot of vapor-lovers. It also feels like something extraterrestrial, but in the best way possible. It is built nicely, to provide both aesthetics and options that everyone is looking for in a vaporizer. There is a nice heft to Ghost MV1, and it is proven to be a moderately reliable vaporizer, meaning only a couple of people actually had problems with the device.
You can get the Ghost MV1 vaporizer in black chrome, matte silver, stealth black, rose gold, and nickel color! The price is reasonable, considering all the features that come along with Ghost MV1. When you purchase the unit, in the box you will have a decent kit with all the necessary items, such as a removable battery, charger, user manual, cleaning kit, and so on. It is safe to safe that Ghost MV1 is pretty decent.
Not That Great For Beginners…
So, how does it work? Do you need to read the manual to get used to the functionalities that Ghost MV1 offers? Well, you can definitely say that. The Ghost MV1 is not as simple as you might believe, so it is not the best idea for beginners. Ghost MV1 has a cannabis chamber where you load the cannabis and it is removable. Right off the bat, the consistency of the grind and pack type will influence how Ghost MV1 performs. It is recommended that you gently pack down at fluffy and medium grind. Of course, we all know that airflow is key!
The next step would be to slide and seal the chamber into position. When you hold the button for a while, you will get flashes of green, which means that you can actually start using Ghost MV1. When you take a draw, you must hold the button down for the full draw duration, and then release, once you are done. Of course, this is not all, and it is even worse if you do not have the app.
For those who did not know, the Ghost brand is not doing the best, and thus they stopped producing Ghost MV1. The only way you can get the unit is by purchasing it from places that still have the product. This also means that their Ghost app, designed to help you adjust temperature and all that, cannot be downloaded. Only the ones who already have the app can download it, and without that, you cannot get the full use of Ghost MV1.
Solid Temperature Flexibility Options
We all know that temperature flexibility is very important. As I just mentioned, unless you have the app installed, you will not really have good temperature flexibility, instead, you will just have preset temperatures to choose from. As for those who do have an app, you will have a bunch of options to choose from.
From the app, you will be able to choose any temperature between 149°C to 243°C, and you will also have three preset temperatures at 171, 185, 199°C. By default, these settings are really not high and are designed more for moderate hits with great flavors. But, if you do have an app, you can always set the max temperature for the lung busters instead. This all depends on your personal preference.
You should also know that the temperatures over 220°C could cause your cannabis to combust, and if you want to go as high as 230°C or over, you should only use cannabis extracts. It seems like Ghost MV1 works really well with cannabis extracts, but that only applies to those who actually have an app. That is quite a bummer.
What About The Quality Of The Vapor?
When it comes to the overall quality and taste of vapor, Ghost MV1 is on top of the list. It has some of the best-tasting vapor, and the production of vapor can go from wispy with intense flavor to lung-busting full extraction that is quite dense. With just a couple of well-done hits, you will be able to clear out your crucible. Ghost MV1 has a great cooling path for the vapor, which definitely adds to the flavor.
When it comes to cannabis extracts you can expect Ghost MV1 to hit very hard! It also offers very flavorful and potent hits for the cannabis extracts and wax. With all that said, it is no wonder why Ghost MV1 is one of the best vaporizers in terms of its quality on the market.
A Bit Of An Underwhelming Battery Life
With so many great options and such promise, one would expect a better battery, don’t you think? Well, the batter is on the back of the device, it is removable, but the proprietary cell and replacements can cost a lot. It is also surprising that Ghost MV1 has a 2600mAh battery, which is very disappointing. However, it is also worth mentioning that the heater is very efficient, and before having to top again, you get to clear about 8-12 crucibles.
When you take everything into consideration, it still feels like the Ghost team could have done much better. Their device is superb and makes some of the best vapor out there, but they really fall short when it comes to the battery experience.
Not Pocket-Friendly Or Discrete
If you are looking for a portable vaporizer that you can fit into your pocket, and that people will not notice, Ghost MV1 is not for you. This is a big and heavy vaporizer that feels like quality, but it is also not that pocket-friendly. Ghost MV1 is more like a portable vaporizer for home, since because of its size and aesthetics, people are bound to stare in public.
